I believe in harmony. Helping others gain harmony within themselves through self-awareness, acknowledgment, and acceptance is what I am great at. Together we can cultivate a relationship and atmosphere that is honest, open, and non-judgemental. This is necessary in order to put a voice to the ugly, scary, and seemingly impossible or weighted thoughts we carry and consume.

I have years of experience in substance abuse and community mental health. Through this lense, I have come to approach therapy utilizing cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and Adlerian theories. I believe that it is essential to address cognitive distortions and behavioral issues by analyzing presented problems, their perceived impact on self/others and then creating manageable goals to address them. This involves understanding family history. I want to know the root of past mental and behavioral struggles to compare and contrast them to the present. As a therapist, my goal is to remain optimistic to your potential and also help you develop a strong sense of self efficacy for what you want to accomplish in therapy.
